You can NEVER have everything figured out. You need people.

There are three dimensions to education. Observation, Association and Reading. All we know and have discovered is an off-shoot of these three.

In my foray into HR, I have seen bosses groan and complain about seemingly unsmart staff who in their own words need to be spoon-fed to get things done. In the same vein, bosses also complain about staff who, though creative and able to think on their feet, do not allow them to sleep with both eyes closed, because they try to outsmart the system.

So here's my poser,......As an employer, which do you prefer,.....a loyal follower who is uncreative or a smart staff who likes to exploit loopholes to his own advantage.

There is no right or wrong response. Just candid expressions of opinion.
