Our Story
DOAM FOUNDATION is a charitable, humanitarian, not for profit organization set up in 2007, in memory of Master Daniel Ogechi Akujobi (1992-2005) who died from injuries he sustained in a fatal motor accident on his way back to school along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The Foundation is primarily dedicated to the enhancement of education and healthcare of less-privileged children and youths in our society. Thus, the Foundation offers scholarship to identified intelligent but indigent children/youths at the primary, secondary and tertiary level of education. It also executes other programs which improve the quality of lives for beneficiaries; such as de-worming of children, nutritional and psycho-social intervention in the lives of children and adolescents, complete mentorship programs for youth and provision of emergency support services including construction and equipment of the DOAMF Accident and Trauma Centre located at Mowe along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, and procurement of an ambulance to aid life-saving activities at the Centre, construction & equipping of E-libraries, sickbays and lavatories in public schools, and impoverished communities.
To date, over 83,000 lives have been touched by our programs and counting.
