BMW X5 Starter Removal|
Quick guide on removing the starter motor (kick starter) from a BMW X5 (2019).
First, disconnect the battery, then locate the starter behind the engine near the transmission bell housing.
Unplug the electrical connector and remove the two mounting bolts holding it to the engine.
Gently wiggle the starter out — no forcing.
This short clip shows the removal steps clearly for starter testing or replacement.
