Worship is the reason most of us started going to church.

Then we were inspired to serve.
Service became our response to worship.

But somewhere along the way,
we got carried away by the work.

We became more *workers* than we were *worshippers*.

Then the politics of work crept in.
Positions, opinions, preferences, power.

Some of us lost in those politics and that’s where many church hurts were born.

Not because God failed us but because we drifted from presence to performance.

When worship fades, service becomes heavy.

When identity shifts from worshipper to worker, the church becomes a workplace instead of a dwelling place.
