AM I THE A-HOLE FOR CHEATING ON MY HUSBAND BECAUSE HE ACCUSED ME OF CHEATING?

I (32F) met my husband (38M) years ago when I worked as a str!pper. He was actually one of my regular clients before we fell in love. I was completely honest about my past and the lifestyle I had lived, and he assured me that none of it mattered to him. Once we got serious, I left that life behind because I genuinely loved him and wanted a future together. The problem is that despite years of faithfulness, my husband has never stopped treating me like I'm one bad decision away from cheating. Every time I go out with friends, come home late, or even take too long to answer my phone, he starts accusing me. Recently, after a girls' night out, I came home to find the doors locked. He told me to go back to whoever I had been sleeping with because he was convinced I had cheated. Something inside me snapped. Angry, hurt, and feeling like I would never escape his accusations, I left, went to a bar, and ended up having a one-night stand. The next morning, I told him exactly what I had done. That's when he admitted he never actually thought I was cheating and was only trying to make me understand how insecure he felt.
