Injury Blow for Barcelona as Lewandowski Ruled Out of Clasico

Robert Lewandowski has been diagnosed with a hamstring tear in his left leg and is set to miss several weeks of action, including the October 26 Clasico against Real Madrid.

The 37-year-old forward picked up the injury while playing for Poland against Lithuania. Reports suggest a four-to-six-week recovery period. Barcelona also face absences of Joan Garcia and Dani Olmo, while youngster Lamine Yamal is back from a groin issue.

Ferran Torres is expected to lead the attack in Lewandowski’s absence.
