When Prayer Feels Like Talking to a Wall
"I want to talk about something most Christian content won't touch.
What do you do when prayer feels pointless? When you've been showing up, opening your Bible, getting on your knees — and it just feels like nothing is happening. No peace. No clarity. Just silence.
Nobody posts about that season. The algorithm doesn't reward it. It doesn't fit the highlight reel of faith that gets shared and saved.
But it's one of the most common experiences Christians have — and the silence around it makes people feel like something is deeply wrong with them.
Here's what I want you to know.
Psalm 22 opens with David crying out: 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish?'
David. A man described as being after God's own heart. Felt abandoned. Said so out loud. Put it in writing.
And God didn't strike him down for it. That cry became Scripture.
Which means God isn't threatened by your honesty. He isn't offended by your doubt. He isn't waiting for you to clean up your feelings before you come to Him.
The season when prayer feels dry isn't a sign that God has left. Sometimes it's actually the season where faith goes deepest — because you're choosing to show up even when you feel nothing. That's not weak faith. That's faith stripped of emotion, and it might be the most raw and real version of it.
Keep showing up. Keep talking to Him — even if it feels like talking to a wall. The wall is not what you think it is.
Have you ever been in this season? Drop a 🙏 if this hit home."

The Anxiety Verse We Keep Getting Wrong
"Can we talk about Philippians 4:6 for a second?
Because I've seen it used in a way that actually hurts people more than it helps them.
'Do not be anxious about anything.'
On the surface that sounds like God telling you to just stop. Pull yourself together. Have more faith. Stop worrying so much.
And if you've ever been in a real season of anxiety — the kind that keeps you up at 3am, the kind that sits on your chest when you wake up — you know how crushing it feels when someone quotes that verse at you like it's supposed to flip a switch.
But here's what the full verse actually says:
'Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.'
Paul doesn't say suppress it. He doesn't say pretend it isn't there. He says bring it. All of it. To God. In prayer. With honesty.
The instruction isn't 'feel less.' The instruction is 'come to Me with what you're feeling.'
There's a massive difference between suppressing your emotions and surrendering them. One buries the anxiety. The other brings it into the light where God can actually meet you in it.
Next time anxiety shows up, don't fight it alone. Take it to God in prayer — even if it's messy, even if it's just 'God I don't know what to do with this.' That's exactly what this verse is inviting you to do.
You're not failing your faith when you feel anxious. You're human. And God — who made you human — already knew this verse would need to be written.
Save this for the next time someone uses this verse to make you feel like your struggles are a spiritual failure. They're not."

Psalm 100 bible verse

11/05/2026

Our ❤️ Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;

Thy kingdom come;

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us;

and lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

Amen.🙏🙏

Your breakthrough didn't require your breakdown.
That was never God's requirement.
Somewhere along the way we believed a lie — that God only moves when we've completely fallen apart. That He only shows up at rock bottom. That we have to lose everything before He'll step in.
But that's not who God is.
He doesn't wait for you to hit the floor before He reaches for you. He doesn't require your worst moment to release His best. He meets you wherever you are — in the middle, in the mess, in the almost.
You do not have to go all the way down to reach all the way up.
His grace is available right now. Not after the breakdown. Not after you've suffered enough. Not after you've proven how desperate you are.
Right now. Exactly where you are.
Stop waiting to be broken enough for God to move. He was already moving before you even knew you needed Him.
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1
PRAYER:
Father forgive me for believing I had to hit rock bottom before You would move.
Meet me here. Right now. Not at my lowest — just where I am.
That is enough for You. And You are enough for me.
Amen. 🙏

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of this day — for breath in my lungs, for the people in my life, and for grace that is new every morning.
In the moments where I feel lost or overwhelmed, remind me that I am not alone. Give me wisdom to make good choices, patience when things don't go as planned, and courage to do what is right even when it is hard.
Forgive me where I have fallen short. Help me to forgive others as freely as You have forgiven me. Teach me to love better — my family, my neighbors, and even those who are difficult to love.
As this day unfolds, may my words and actions reflect something of Your goodness. Not for my own glory, but so that others might find hope.
In Your name I pray, Amen.

Work with God

What looks like a dead end to you looks like a setup to God.
That situation you've been losing sleep over. That problem that looks impossible from every angle. That door that closed so hard it shook the walls.
Heaven has a plan for all of it.
You see the problem. God sees the pathway through it. You see the closed door. God sees the one He's about to open. You see the delay. God sees the divine timing.
Where you see confusion — He sees clarity.
Where you see lack — He sees provision on the way.
Where you see an ending — He sees a beginning.
You are not looking at a dead end. You are standing at a setup.
Joseph didn't see a throne from the pit. David didn't see a kingdom from the field. Lazarus didn't see resurrection from the grave.
But God did.
And what God sees over your situation is bigger than what you're looking at right now.
Stop staring at the problem. Heaven is already moving. 🙏
"For I know the plans I have for you — plans to prosper you and not to harm you." — Jeremiah 29:11
PRAYER:
Father shift my perspective today. Where I see a problem help me trust that heaven already has a plan.
I choose to stop staring at what's in front of me and start trusting what You already see.
Amen. 🙏

Happy mothers day

The pen is in your hand — what are you writing next?
Not your past. Not your mistakes. Not the people who hurt you. Not the seasons that broke you.
You.
God has handed you something powerful right now — a fresh page, a new moment, an open door called today. And He's not standing over you dictating every word. He is trusting you with the pen.
That means the bitterness you keep carrying — you can choose to put it down.
That dream you keep postponing — you can choose to start.
That apology you owe — you can choose to make it.
That next chapter you've been afraid of — you can choose to write it.
Your story is not over. It's not even close to over.
The enemy wants you to believe your best chapters are behind you. That the mistakes defined the whole book. That the plot is too broken to recover.
But God is the author of redemption. And in His hands no story is too far gone.
He gave you the pen. He gave you today. He gave you another chance to write something worth reading.
So write. 🙏
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See I am doing a new thing." — Isaiah 43:18-19
PRAYER:
Father thank You for fresh pages. Thank You for not leaving my story where it was.
Today I choose to write forward. Not backward. Give me the courage to start the chapter I've been afraid of.
The pen is in my hand. Guide it.
Amen. 🙏
