Whatever market you're trading. Whatever direction the market is going, you should be able to stay profitable.

Timing is everything. Do your research and buy at the right time, and also sell at the right time. Don't buy top and sell bottom.

Nobody is coming to save you. Random luck won't find you. You're not going to win the lottery. A job offer won't come out of nowhere. Your business won't just get discovered. You won't marry rich. A new supplement that magically makes you healthy won't come out. If you want something, you have to go get it. You have to make your own luck. If you don't do that, you'll be waiting for the rest of your life.

Most times volume negates luck. If you shoot 1,000 times at a target, one must hit, and it'll have absolutely nothing to do with your skill or how lucky you are.

The hit will be based solely on the probability that all 1,000 tries can never fail.
