The day your marriage is in real trouble
is not the day you stop loving each other.
It is the day you stop
liking each other. đź’”
You used to be the first person
they called with good news.
Now they share their wins
with their work colleagues
before they tell you.
A marriage without friendship
is just a legal contract
with shared bills.
Your spouse does not just need
a husband or a wife.
They need a friend.
Be that first. ❤️

The strongest relationships are not always the loudest online.
These days, many couples mistake public attention for a genuine connection. They post every gift, every date night, every argument resolved, every “perfect moment”, not realising that too much exposure can quietly damage what they’re trying to protect.
Love does not become more real because strangers can see it.
In fact, some of the healthiest couples intentionally keep certain parts of their relationship private because they understand something many people don’t:
Not everyone watching you is rooting for you.
Over time, social media has created:
• unhealthy comparison
• outside opinions
• jealousy and insecurity
• validation addiction
• relationship competition
• unnecessary access to private matters
Some couples become so focused on appearing happy online that they stop investing in becoming healthy offline.
A private relationship is not a hidden relationship.
There is a major difference between:
PROTECTING your relationship
and CONCEALING your relationship.
Some things grow better away from public noise.
As Larry Brown said:
“Stop posting every detail of your relationship on social media. People can’t attack what they know nothing about.”
