"We are ready" disaster preparedness and risk reduction campaign sets to flag off

"We Are Ready" peoject in collaboration with Apex Green Peace Initiative (AGPI) is set to flag off its education and sensitization program in Borno state. As a Disaster Risk Reduction initiative, the main objective of the program is to use sports to bring commumities especially youth together with the view to boosting preparenedness via education and sensitization.
Other important activities include tree planting, school advocacy, where campaigns are taken to schools.
The project has the scope to take its campaign to different stakeholders ranging from the immediate commumity, schools, health facilities, farmers and many more.
Football is a powerful unification tool, this will play critical cohesion role they will bring together young people within Borno state.
The 2023 Seasonal Climate Prediction (SCP) and the Annual Floods Outlook reports present data thay clearly shows impending floods. In Borno, WE ARE READY to educate, sensitize and ensure communities are READY .
Follow us as we combat climate change and educate communities to reduce risks associated with flooding.
