Last week Thursday, we had the honour of receiving a courtesy visit from representatives of Plan International Nigeria led by Leticia Hijazo Conejos (Lake Chad Program Coordinator at Plan International Nigeria) alongside Mr. Iliyasu Usman (Youth Engagement and Consultation Coordinator)

The visit focused on our ongoing collaboration for the establishment of a Creative Audiovisual studio, discussing programming, ecosystem engagement, sustainability and planning, and strategic discussions geared toward creating long term impact for young creatives and the youth ecosystem at large. We appreciate their commitment, insights, and continuous collaboration toward innovation, youth development, and sustainable growth.

Three cities. Three stages. One powerful movement.

From recovery to renaissance… from survival to shared prosperity, a new story is rising in the Northeast.

For years, this region carried a heavy narrative.
Today, communities are rebuilding, reconnecting, and reimagining what’s possible, not just infrastructure, but trust, identity, and opportunity.

This is where ideas meet purpose.

This year, the TEDx experience unfolds across three cities:

TEDxMaiduguri 2026 — July
TEDxDamaturu 2026 — August
TEDxJimeta 2026 — September

Different cities. Different voices.
One shared purpose: ideas worth spreading.

Across Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe,
we gather thinkers, builders, artists, and everyday changemakers to spark conversations that drive peace, reintegration, creativity, and community-led development.

Here, reintegration is lived. Peace is practiced.
And innovation is not imported but grown from within.

Three platforms. Three conversations.
One movement shaping a stronger tomorrow.

This is more than a series.
This is a regional movement — powered by ideas, driven by people.
