YIPDI officially handed over the newly constructed MCH VIP Latrine to the management of the MHC at HOYO Community, Magumeri.

This intervention reflects our continued commitment to improving maternal and child healthcare services through safe, dignified, and hygienic sanitation facilities for women, children, and healthcare workers.

Together, we are strengthening community health systems and promoting healthier futures for vulnerable populations in Borno State.

This year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” reminds us that when we support, uplift, and invest in women and girls, everyone benefits.
Youth Intergrated for Positive Development Initiative-YIPDI celebrates the strength, courage, and power of women everywhere.

YIPDI conducted Psychosocial Support (PSS) for children in Kaigamari, Bama LGA, Borno State, creating a safe and nurturing space for them to play, express themselves, and rebuild emotional strength.

Through structured games, group engagement, and supportive interaction, the session helped children cope with stress and strengthen resilience in the face of displacement and hardship.
Because every child deserves safety, healing, and hope.

Swiss Development & Cooperation

Last Thursday, Youth Intergrated for Positive Development Initiative-YIPDI, alongside our Swiss Development & Cooperation funded PACT-LAB project consortium partners, hosted Ms. Aline Bürki, Humanitarian Advisor, and Mr. Ahmad Abdullahi, Humanitarian Programme Specialist from the Embassy of Switzerland in Nigeria.

During the field visit to Monguno Local Government Area of Borno state, the delegation engaged with women and girls at vocational training centres and YIPDI safe space, where essential psychosocial support and skills acquisition are being provided.

The visit highlighted encouraging outcomes, with several women now generating sustainable income and contributing meaningfully to the stability of their households and communities.
