KATSINA GOVERNMENT ENDORSES ANNUAL BINARYSPORTS WORKSHOP AFTER SUCCESSFUL TWO-DAY PROGRAM

The BinarySports Performance Analysis and Coaching Development Workshop came to a remarkable close in Katsina on Thursday, attracting top dignitaries including the Commissioner of Sports, Hon. Aliyu Lawal Shargalle, the Director General of KATDICT, Naufal Ahmad, top Govt officials, and media outlets.

In his closing remarks, the Commissioner of Sports praised BinarySports and the Coalition for Youth and Sports Development for their impactful two-day program, which trained 80 coaches across all the local government in Katsina State on modern performance analysis techniques, data interpretation, and the evolving roles of coaches in football development.

Impressed by the workshop’s success and its alignment with the state’s vision for sports advancement, the Commissioner announced, on behalf of the Katsina State Government, the approval for the BinarySports Workshop to be held annually in Katsina, a move reflecting Governor Mal. Dikko Radda’s commitment to youth and sports development.

The event was facilitated by Idris D. Okeke, Lead Instructor and Performance Analyst, alongside Barr. Ibrahim Gwadabe, a CAF Instructor. Both guided participants through insightful sessions bridging global best practices with local coaching realities.

The workshop concluded with renewed enthusiasm among participants, who described the initiative as a turning point for grassroots and elite coaching development in Katsina State.
