TikTok User Urges Kwara Government to Allow Sunday Igboho's Security Initiative

A TikTok user identified as Yeye Oge has appealed to the Kwara State Government to allow Yoruba nation activist Sunday Igboho to launch his proposed Iru Ekun security initiative in the state.

In a video circulating on TikTok, Yeye Oge questioned reports that the state government had prevented the initiative from being launched in Kwara. She argued that, with growing concerns over insecurity and incidents of kidnappings in parts of the state, every lawful effort aimed at improving security should be given consideration.

According to her, families of victims of bandit attacks and kidnappings are in urgent need of support, and she urged the government to permit any initiative that could contribute to protecting lives and securing the release of abducted persons.

She maintained that if the government has not been able to fully address the security challenges, it should consider collaborating with other stakeholders willing to support efforts to restore peace and improve safety across the state.

The Kwara State Government has not publicly responded to the claims made in the video, and there has been no official confirmation that Sunday Igboho was stopped from launching the Iru Ekun security outfit in the state.

Speaking during a meeting with supporters, the women leader accused the governor of abandoning the ideals upon which the APC was built in the state, alleging that many loyal party members have been sidelined despite their contributions to the party's success.

According to her, the APC Liberation Agenda remains committed to restoring what it described as justice, fairness, and inclusiveness within the party, adding that members across the state are mobilizing to ensure that the voices of genuine party faithful are heard.

*O TO GE SCAM: HOW RAMANI TURNED LIBERATORS INTO POLITICAL OUTCASTS*

*Ramoni Was Older than All Opposition Candidates In 2019. Now He Wants To Impose A Stooge In Disguise As Youth*

*It's Not About Youth. It's About Control*

*We Rejected A Stooge In 2019. We Will Reject Another In 2027*

The tragedy of Kwara politics is unfolding before our eyes.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, "Ramani," came to power through the sacrifice of experienced, popular and impartial leaders, (G15 & Other Sympathizers). They stepped down for one another. They united across the state.

They sold him to the people with one promise: to end godfatherism and restore dignity to governance.

Today, those same liberators have been pushed aside.

Who is left with Ramani? They are inexperienced, unpopular remnants politicians who know staying with Ramoni is their only window.

Why? Because the men and women who made O to ge possible are now at war with Ramani’s tyranny. And in that war, these remnants politicians see an opportunity to feast on Ramoni's excessive, purposeless spending while he handicaps the state and turns it into personal property.

*The Imposition of a Stooge*

This is no longer about "youth." It is about control. Ramani is hiding behind "new faces" to impose a Speaker who spent 8 years bootlicking him. His reward? The Government House.

That is third term by proxy. One man ruling through another.

*The Over 12-Year Greed*

While installing his puppet, Ramani is also planning to unseat all kwara Senators so he can do 8 years as Governor + many more years as Senator = over 12 years in power while imposing weaklings across other Senatorial District of the state.

In 2019, we rejected a candidate for being a stooge, even though he was younger fit and more educated than Ramoni.

Today Ramani wants to impose the same formula. The hypocrisy is satanic.

*Why G15 Must Act*

The G15 did not fight to replace one godfather with a worse one. We have the mandate, the structure, and the popular support. Our duty now is clear: rescue APC and rescue Kwara.

*Mr. President, NWC: Intervene Now*

You stopped this in other states. Do it in Kwara. Do not allow Ramani’s tyrant leadership to destroy the party that O to ge built.

*We said No to Godfatherism in 2019. We Will say No to Ramani's Dictatorship in 2027.*

*NWC WAKE UP: RAMANI IS KILLING THE PARTY WE BUILT*
*O TO GE WAS FOR THE PEOPLE, NOT FOR RAMANI'S PUPPETS*

*E SIGNED*
*KWARA APC LIKE-MINDS*

Speech Delivered by Dr. Muideen Olaniyi Azeez Salako at the G15 Mega Rally, Ilorin

Distinguished party leaders, elders, stakeholders, and loyal APC members, I greet you all.

Our message is simple: we want a united, peaceful, and democratic APC in Kwara State.

There is a Yoruba proverb that says a child may remain silent when a father makes mistakes out of respect, but when those mistakes become too much, the child must say, "Enough is enough." Today, we have chosen to speak.

The hardship facing Nigerians affects everyone, regardless of tribe or background. Every Kwaran deserves the right to freely choose who governs the state. We reject any attempt to impose candidates on the people.

We call on His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to review and nullify the purported APC primary elections in Kwara State because, in our view, no credible primary was conducted.

The G15 remains united. Whoever emerges from our group will enjoy our collective support because our common goal is APC's victory in 2027.

The large turnout at this rally is a clear message that party members are demanding justice, fairness, and internal democracy.

Thank you, and may God bless the APC, Kwara State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Thousands Join Kwara APC G15 Solidarity Walk as Coalition Relaunches OTOGE Movement, Seeks Tinubu's Intervention

Thousands of supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the platform of the Kwara APC G15 Coalition on Monday staged a massive solidarity walk in Ilorin, declaring the rebirth of the OTOGE movement that brought an end to the long-standing political dominance of the Saraki dynasty in Kwara State.

The procession, which commenced at the Geri-Alimi Underpass, moved through major streets of Ilorin, including the Emir's Palace, before terminating at the Post Office, attracting a large turnout of APC supporters from across the state.

Speaking at the end of the rally, leaders of the coalition said the renewed OTOGE movement was aimed at restoring the ideals of justice, fairness, inclusiveness and good governance, which they alleged had been abandoned by the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The G15 Coalition comprises ten leading APC governorship aspirants, the state's three serving senators, a majority of APC members in the National Assembly, serving members of the Kwara State House of Assembly, the party's Elders Caucus, youth and women leaders, as well as other stakeholders.

In a statement issued after the solidarity walk, the coalition disclosed that it recently concluded consultations in Abuja with senior APC stakeholders and national leaders on the future of the party in Kwara State and the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to the coalition, the consultations reinforced the need for unity within the party and the restoration of the values that inspired the original OTOGE movement.

The group stated that its members had resolved to set aside personal political ambitions in order to work collectively for what it described as the rescue of both the APC in Kwara State and the state's democratic future.

The coalition expressed concern over what it described as increasing division within the party, alleging that governance and party administration had become overly centralized. It maintained that the people of Kwara deserve an inclusive government that listens to citizens, accommodates diverse interests and promotes fairness in leadership.

Despite its criticisms, the G15 reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and pledged continued support for his administration and the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The coalition, however, appealed to President Tinubu and the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC to ensure that the wishes of the majority of party members are respected in determining the party's leadership and political direction in Kwara State.

As part of its resolutions, the coalition presented a ten-point demand to the President and the APC leadership, calling for transparent and inclusive party administration, merit-based leadership selection, accountable governance, genuine reconciliation founded on justice and fairness, improved security, protection of dissenting voices and the rejection of any attempt by a minority to impose its decisions on the majority.

The coalition insisted that democracy can only thrive where the collective will of party members is respected, stressing that the future of the APC in Kwara depends on justice, equity and internal democracy.

Also speaking during an interview, Dr. Muideen Salako emphasized that democracy is founded on fairness, justice and the collective interest of the people. He appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene in the affairs of the Kwara APC, warning that failure to address the current challenges within the party could negatively affect its chances in the forthcoming elections. He expressed confidence that timely intervention by the President would strengthen party unity and preserve the APC's electoral fortunes in Kwara State.

Thousands of supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the platform of the Kwara APC G15 on Monday staged a solidarity walk in Ilorin, declaring the relaunch of the Otoge movement that ended the Saraki political dynasty's dominance of Kwara politics in 2019.

The coalition said the renewed movement was aimed at confronting what it described as the abandonment of the ideals of the original OTOGE struggle by the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The G15 is a coalition comprising the ten top governorship aspirants of the APC, the state's three serving senators, a majority of APC members in the National Assembly, serving members of the Kwara State House of Assembly, the party's Elders Caucus, youth and women leaders, and other stakeholders.

The solidarity procession began at the Geri-Alimi Underpass in Ilorin, passed through the Emir's Palace and ended at the Post Office, drawing thousands of APC supporters.

Addressing supporters after the march, leaders of the coalition said the turnout reflected growing dissatisfaction within the party and demonstrated that the ideals upon which the OTOGE movement was founded remain alive among many Kwarans.

In a statement issued after the procession, the coalition said it recently concluded consultations in Abuja with senior APC stakeholders and other national leaders on developments within the party in Kwara State.

According to the group, the discussions centred on the unity of the APC in the state, the future of Kwara politics and the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.

"We have come to the firm conclusion that we owe it to our supporters, to the people of Kwara State, and to generations yet unborn to subordinate our individual political aspirations to one collective ambition—the rescue of our party and the rescue of Kwara State," the statement said.

The coalition argued that the OTOGE movement represented a popular struggle against exclusion, impunity, political domination and poor governance, adding that those ideals had gradually been eroded.

It alleged that the APC in Kwara had become increasingly divided and that governance and party administration had become overly centralised.

"Sadly, this is not the Kwara State we all bargained for. This is not the Kwara State we promised our people during the OTOGE Revolution," the coalition stated.

The group maintained that Kwara deserved a government that listens to its citizens, accommodates diverse interests and promotes inclusive leadership.

Despite its criticisms of the state government, the coalition reaffirmed its loyalty to President Tinubu and pledged continued support for his administration.

It, however, urged the President and the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC to ensure the emergence of leadership in Kwara that reflects what it described as the wishes of the majority of party members.

The coalition presented a ten-point demand to the President and the APC leadership.

Among other requests, it called for the rejection of what it described as flawed and controversial party primaries in the state, the endorsement of a more popular and credible alternative, and a merit-based succession process that prioritises competence and acceptability over political patronage.

The group also demanded transparent and inclusive party administration, an end to political godfatherism, protection of dissenting voices, accountable governance, genuine reconciliation based on justice and fairness, and an urgent review of the state's security strategy.

The coalition also rejected what it described as attempts by a minority within the party to impose its preferences on the majority.

"Democracy derives its legitimacy from the consent of the majority, not from the preferences of a select few," the statement added.

Also speaking to an interview is Dr muideen salako who believes democracy comes from fairness and also people's interest,in which he pleads to the president to interfere in Kwara Apc so that the party won't fail in the coming elections
