The Supervisors and Advisers of Ondo West Local Government joined His Excellency, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, at the Democracy Day Celebration held at The Dome, Akure, on June 12, 2026.
The event featured a keynote address by Distinguished Senator Adams Oshiomhole, who spoke on the significance of democracy, good governance, national development, and the collective responsibility of citizens in sustaining democratic values.
The celebration served as an opportunity to reflect on Nigeria's democratic journey, honour the sacrifices of democracy heroes, and reaffirm our commitment to peace, unity, security, and progress.
