Guinness World Record: Longest Cooking Hours (100 Hours Hilda Baci Cook-A-Thon)

Congratulations to 27 years old Nigerian chef, Hilda Bassey Effiong, for breaking the Guinness World Record for the Longest Cooking Hours.

Hilda cooked about 150 different meals in 4 days non-stop at Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos State, to break the world record. She stood all through while cooking.

The former holder of the title is an Indian chef, Lata Tandon, who set a Guinness World Record for cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes non-stop in 2019. Hilda added extra 13 hours (100 hours) to give a clear margin with Lata's record.

Hilda is from Akwa Ibom State with a food brand in Lagos State called "My Food by Linda". Hilda's mum is also a chef. She owes a food brand called "Calabar Pot". I really love her courage. We are proud of you. Go Hilda .

Yoruba actor and movie producer, Murphy Afolabi has passed away at the age of 49.

Though details of his death are yet to be confirmed, it was gathered that he died from injuries sustained when he fell in the bathroom. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
