What helps you reconnect with God when you feel distant?

There was a time I smiled online but cried in private.
I was surrounded by people, yet I felt empty.
Waking up tired, questioning myself, overthinking everything and silently asking, “God, where are You?”

I stopped praying consistently because I felt unworthy and I said "is there even a need to"?
I thought maybe I had drifted too far. Maybe God was disappointed in me.

One night, after another long day of pretending to be okay, I randomly opened my Bible. The verse of the day said:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
That felt personal.
I know I still had struggles, bad days, and moments of doubt.

But slowly, I started finding peace again.
Through worship.
Through quiet prayers.
Through people God placed in my life at the right time.

Now I’ve realized that finding God isn’t always a loud dramatic moment. Sometimes it’s simply choosing to come back… even when you feel broken.

If you’re currently feeling lost, tired or disconnected, this is your reminder that God still sees you, still loves you and is still calling you home. 🤍

Just as we mentioned earlier last week, our interstate football competition kicked off on Monday 4th May, 2026 by 4:00pm at Ugborimili Primary School housing estate Fegge Onitsha.

It was an awesome experience.

The Anambra and Ebonyi state football players were giving it at the field hot-hot.🔥

At the end of the match, Ebonyi State scored 1-0 against Anambra.

Another interesting part of the story is that the same Ebonyi state players will be competing with Enugu players tomorrow.

Same time.
Same venue.

Now, which state will go home with this trophy???
