Blue Timothy Osadebe
Blue Timothy Osadebe, also known as BTO, is the Founder, CEO, and Managing Director of BTO Academy.
You could be absolutely in love with someone and willing to do anything for that person, while the person you’re in love with is also deeply in love with someone else and has no real interest in you.
He or she might even be willing to do anything for that other person — even give It up for them. (You know what I mean)
See eeee, In this life, just focus on yourself. Keep developing yourself, keep pursuing your goals, and keep becoming better.
Make good friends, focus on your life and your family. When you finally find someone who truly loves you, someone who genuinely admires you, wants you and chooses you, omo kuku learn to return that love and focus on that person!.
Because sometimes eee, it’s very hard to find someone you love who also loves you at the same time, so stop breaking your own heart, just love who loves you.
E no hard like that.
PS: This advice is not for everyone.

I can't die yet, not until I set this in motion and actually set the foundation that will carry it on for generations after am gone, until then, I'll keep fighting through the pain, depression, and discomfort, I'll keep fighting for the children that are yet to be born.
A Sickle Free Generation is possible.

Yesterday and the day before, I fell incredibly sick.
My crisis was at its peak, and I felt tremendous pain all over my body, it felt like I was dying again 🤦🏻♂️, and currently, I still need treatment to fully recover!
This ruined a lot of things for me, delayed many plans — just like it always has.
But lately, every single time I experience these sickle cell related setbacks, it now gives me even more reason, more motivation, and more willpower to push the Sickle Free Gen Movement, the Sickle Cell Free Generation Initiative.
This initiative is one I aim to partner with the World Health Organization, 's and the to execute, to tackle the high rate of children born with sickle cell every year at its root cause. (Which is genotype unawareness)
The goal is simple but powerful: that in the next generation, there will be fewer to no sickle cell patients in existence.
That’s why it’s called the Sickle Free Generation Movement (Sickle Free Gen).
Some time ago, I researched how many children are born every year with sickle cell in Nigeria. The number shocked me, it was a staggering 150,000 children in Nigeria alon.
It still haunts me at night ever since then, knowing that 150,000 innocent children are brought into this world yearly to go through the same kind of pain and suffering I’ve lived with all my life.
When I was younger, during my worst crises, I used to think to myself' maybe the reason why I am going through this much pain is because I didn't do anything in my past life to tackle the sickle cell pandemic.
Well, this time around, in this lifetime, I refuse to repeat that. I will do something so impactful, so that in my next life, I won’t have to come back as a sickler.
There are many unseen mental, emotional, psychological, and physical struggles sickle cell patients go through, things far deeper than just the crisis itself.
These are things society must start paying attention to so we can tackle it. Some people may not care about this, because it doesn't affect them, but the reality and possibility is that it only takes one unintentional passionate night, for you to have a grandchild or great-grandchild born with sickle cell.
And if that happens, the pain doesn’t just affect the patient only, it also affects the entire family. Parents, siblings, aunties, uncles, cousins, grandparents — everyone feels the emotional and psychological weight and the fear of a possible death. It’s not an easy journey. I know this firsthand.
So today, I’m calling on individuals, organizations, and institutions who are willing to try to make this movement a reality. A sickle cell - free generation is possible. It can be done. We just have to take action, we just have to start, and I’m willing to lead that charge.
My name is Blue Timothy Osadebe and I will not be remembered as a sickler, but as a generational impact maker, as the African Phoenix.
