If you think that you need to have a computer science certificate or be a graduate before you get started in tech, this is for you.

I have gotten some DMs like, “I don’t have a computer science certificate. Are you sure I will get a job after learning?”

“I’m not a graduate. Will I ever make it in tech?”

And my answer is YES.

Tech is one of the few industries where what you can do matters more than what is written on paper.

Companies are not just looking for certificates. They are looking for people who can solve problems, build things, and actually apply their knowledge.

If you can build projects, understand how things work, and keep improving your skills, you are already on the right path.

Many people working in tech today didn’t start with a computer science degree. Some came from completely different fields. What made the difference was their willingness to learn, practice, and stay consistent.

The truth is that a certificate can be nice to have, but it is not the only path into tech.

Your portfolio, your projects, and your skills can speak louder than a piece of paper.
