GROWTH CAN BE SO UNCOMFORTABLE

I and my roommates where discussing yesterday evening, one of them mentioned something that got my attention. He said, why is life so hard when you start growing up becoming an adult, I wish I could just go back to my old times (young age).

I laughed.

But here is what I picked out from what he said.

You could remember those times when you where young, when all you could think about was, wake up from bed in the morning, brush, bath, eat, eat again, eat again, and then sleep, where you don't have to think of any future. When anyone hit you on the way, you ran to report to your dad/mom, and so on.

But it's like all that have changed now 😥

Growing up is becoming more uncomfortable, with increasing tasks, more responsibility which sometimes seems tougher and harder.

Here is me telling you.

Don't be upset if your journey of growth is hard and looks messy.

But you should know, that is where your potential lies. Doing things you're not good at, choosing to see challenges as opportunities.

If everything is too good, you’re probably stuck not being awesome.

Don’t join an “easy” crowd. You won’t grow.

Many people are so comfortable they’re miserable.

Breaking a habit, trying something new, taking a risk, making new connections, or putting yourself in a totally new situation won’t be easy, but it’s worth it. It’s exhausting but rewarding.

“All growth depends upon activity. There is no development physically or intellectually without effort, and effort means work.”
