AHIAZU MBAISE SHARED PROSPERITY YOUTH MOVEMENT HOLDS MEGA YOUTH SUMMIT

~ Launches SPYM10 in Support of Gov. Uzodimma’s Re-election

Ahiazu Mbaise stood still on Friday 3rd November as the Shared Prosperity Youth Movement (SPYM) held a mega youth summit/rally in support of Gov Hope Uzodimma’s second term bid.

The event which was graced by over 5,000 youths of Ahiazu Mbaise commenced with a roadshow from Afor Oru market area to the the Local Government Council where the rally took place. The enthusiastic Youths used the roadshow to welcome the SA(Youth Affairs), Hon Eric Uwakwe, DG SPYM, Hon. Bob E. Anyanwu, State leadership of SPYM, many other dignitaries and government functionaries.

After the opening prayers and presentation of Kolanuts, the Coordinator of SPYM in Ahiazu Mbaise, Engr Obinna Agulanna who thanked the stakeholders for attending such a mega youth summit which is the first of its kind in Ahiazu. Engr Agulanna also said that the youths are tired of sitting on the fence and have therefore decided to get involved in government in order to help in shaping their destinies and their generation. He finally assured Gov Hope Uzodimma that the votes of Ahiazu Mbaise are secured for him from Polling Unit to the State Collation Centre as a token of appreciation for his massive infrastructural development and youth friendly government.

The DG of SPYM later electrified the enthusiastic crowd with a message of renewed Hope and urged the Youths to vote massively for Gov Hope Uzodimma because of his numerous Youth friendly programs like SkillUp Imo Project and Youth Empowerment programs.

Goodwill messages were delivered by Ahiazu Leaders like, Hon Okey Ezem (Coordinator of Ekwerazu Local Government Development Area), Hon Mrs Chidimma Onuoha (SA to the Governor on Direct Foreign Investment and new Industry), Chief Leo Nkemjika Okeahialam, former SOLAD Ahiazu local government, Chief Chuks Chilaka (Dikejiejemba 1 of Mbaise)SA to the Governor on political, Hon Dr (Mr) Ngozi Aririguzo Chairperson Ahiazu local government, Rt. Hon Sam Nkem Otuibe, House Member Ahiazu State Constituency, Hon Chief Sir Adultus Onuoha (Ogbuhoruzo 1 of Mbaise)fomer T.C Chairman Ahiazu local government, Hon Bar. Tony Odirichukwu APC State working committee member from Ahiazu, Chief Ethelbert Ugwu, Ahiazu APC LGA party chairman, Hon.Anthony Mmahuruike, Hon Commissioner for livestock and Hon. Mrs. Jane Ogbenna. They all hailed SPYM as the most organized, outstanding and grassroot political structure of the Governor in Ahiazu and extolled the Coordinator, Engr Obinna Agulanna for being at the forefront of youth renaissance at this critical moment of our history.

High point of the event was the presentation of certificate of LGA MATRON to Hon Dr. (Mrs) Princess Chidimma Onuoha, LGA PATRON to Hon Chief Chuks Chilaka and LGA GRAND PATRON to Hon Chief Tony Anakani for their various contributions towards Youth development and Empowerment in Ahiazu.

Hon Dr. (Mrs) Princess Chidinma Onuoha during her goodwill message as the LGA SPYM Matron admonished and encouraged the youths of Ahiazu to continue to support the good work of Shared Prosperity Government of Gov Hope Uzodinma for more dividends of democracy in Ahiazu.

Hon Chife Chuks Chilaka the SPYM LGA Patron extolled the youths of Ahiazu SPYM for coming out en mass for the event, he further encouraged them to also massively come out in the same spirit on 11th November to deliver his Excellency.

Shared Prosperity Youth Movement [SPYM] MBAISE BLOCK welcomes His Excellency, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma, the Executive Governor of Imo State to our Annual Iri-Ji Mbaise Festival 2023.

Meeting of the Shared Prosperity Youth Movement (SPYM) Mbaitoli chapter held on Fri 4th August 2023 at the Local government headquarters Nwaorieubi.

The meeting was at the instance of the LGA coordinator who is also the COC of Imo SPYM Hon. Chibuzor Uwandu.

Matters discussed at the meeting are as follows

1. Revalidation of SPYM 10. The coordinator stressed the need for ward coordinators to go back and reconfirm the names that were submitted and the need to always have meetings with them.

2. SPYM 10 inauguration and courtesy call to leaders.
The coordinator told members that a date will be chosen soon for the inauguration of SPYM 10 and further requested members to suggest names of Mbaitoli leaders that would be visited for courtesy call.

3. The coordinator informed the house of the Incorporation of other support groups into SPYM. In this regard, he urged every Exco and ward coordinator to be up and doing so as not to be replaced by new entrants who are capable.

In attendance at the meeting were,
Hon Nick Iwuozor the SPYM State director for Special citizens, LGA executive members, Ward coordinators and secretaries.

The SOLAD of Mbaitoli Hon Hamilton Chinasa Opara was on hand to welcome attendees to the local government headquarters. He went further to provide a token for transport.
