ACCESS GRANTED

ROMANS 5:1-2

"By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." (v. 2).

What a torment it is to stand at a door that refuses to open—to hold a key that no longer fits the lock. We’ve all known the anxiety of being unable to access accounts, or log in to a device because of a wrong or lost password, or standing before a slammed gate. It leaves us feeling stranded, rejected, and powerless.

Paul, in his letter to the Romans, reminded the believers that, by faith, they have been justified (accepted as though they had not sinned) through the blood of Jesus Chris and have peace with God through Jesus Christ.

In addition to peace with God, the believers have already gained access to God's grace wherein we stand. This access is an entrance into a dimension of God's grace, and this grace gives us a relationship with God that is sustained and settled by God through Jesus Christ. Our standing in this relationship is by Christ. He gives us the boldness, courage, and freedom to come to God (Heb. 4:16).

This is why the believers rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. The grace activates the believer's hope and enables the believer to rejoice. The rejoicing is not based on things seen but on the hope of the glory of God.

Beloved, we have been granted access to God's presence. This access has opened a dimension for us to obtain grace and find help in times of need. This grace has positioned you for the best. It has set aside your limitations so that you can rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
This access can only be granted to those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior. Let's come boldly to Jesus Christ for access to God's grace, for there is hope for us beyond our hopeless situations.

THE SACRED BLUEPRINT: PREPARING A DWELLING PLACE FOR GOD

1 Chronicles 22

David, a man whose very breath was a pursuit of God’s heart, burned with a holy ambition. He envisioned a magnificent house for the Lord, a resting place for the Ark of the Covenant. But the divine timeline was different. The Lord said, "Not you, but your son Solomon." Yet, this did not stop David. Instead of retreating in disappointment, he leaned into the future with prophetic foresight. He understood that while his hands would not lay the stones, his heart would provide the foundation.

For the rest of his days, David became a man of sacred preparation. He mobilized his soul to ensure that the Temple—a symbol of God's presence among His people—would be built without hindrance. His preparation was not just logistical; it was holistic, touching every dimension of his son’s life. David made the following preparations:

1. The Labor Force: David gathered the workers. He conscripted the strangers and the stonecutters, marshaling human strength for the divine task (v. 2). He knew that a vision of this magnitude required willing hands.

2. The Wealth of Nations: He amassed the treasures of the earth—glittering gold, burnished silver, unbreakable bronze, and fragrant cedar. Every beam and precious stone was stockpiled, a testament to his relentless generosity (vv. 3-4, 14, 16).

3. The Weight of Mantle: Beyond the physical, David poured his spirit into Solomon. He didn't just hand over a blueprint; he handed over a vision. He whispered the oracles of God into his son’s ears, reminding him of the divine election, the covenant promises, and the solemn charge to walk in unwavering faithfulness (vv. 9-12).

4. The Resolve of the Heart: Finally, David prepared Solomon’s mind. He challenged him to set his heart and soul in order, to gird his loins with courage, knowing that a task of this grandeur requires not just skill, but a spirit wholly devoted (v. 19).

As we read this, the question echoes in our own hearts: What are we building for the Kingdom with the precious lives entrusted to us? We readily invest in our children's education—we pay for tutors, secure their futures, and provide every resource for their academic success. We want them to be "useful" to society. But what of their spiritual architecture? How diligently do we gather the "materials" of faith for them? Do we remind them that they are not accidents, but divine gifts entrusted to our care? Do we speak the promises of God over their lives, or do we leave them to the whispers of the world? Do we provide them with the "gold and silver" of sound doctrine, and surround them with teachers who build in the fear of the Lord?

The world measures success by careers and accolades. God measures legacy by spiritual commitment. The most educated child is vulnerable if their soul is impoverished. Let us raise sons and daughters whose foundation is not ambition, but devotion—children who are not just successful, but consecrated.
Remember, every David must eventually hand the Temple keys to a Solomon to build. The question is not how much wealth you have accumulated, but what spiritual inheritance have you prepared? When your earthly journey ends, will your children inherit just a name, or will they inherit a Kingdom vision?

CHOSEN FOR HIS PRESENCE

1 CHRONICLES 15:2, 13

"Then David said, No one but the Levites may carry the ark of God, for the Lord has chosen them to carry the ark of the Lord and to minister to Him forever."

There is a sacred truth woven throughout Scripture: God does not call crowds—He calls individuals. He searches for hearts that are fully His, and upon them He places a divine assignment. The Levites were not chosen because they were stronger, smarter, or more deserving. They were chosen because God set His love upon them and said, "You will carry My presence. You will stand before Me. You will be the conduit through which My glory flows to My people."

The Ark of the Covenant was no ordinary object. It was the very footstool of Heaven—the place where God's glory rested and His voice was heard. To carry the Ark was not a task; it was a trust. But when the Levites grew careless and placed the Ark on a cart, they treated the holy as ordinary. They substituted obedience for convenience, and in that moment, Uzza reached out to steady what should never have been moved by human invention—and he lost his life. Not because God was harsh, but because His presence is not to be handled casually. Where His glory dwells, there must be reverence, honor, and intentionality.

Beloved, you are that Ark in your generation. God has chosen you to carry His presence—not occasionally, not when it's convenient, but daily, deliberately, and devotedly. His presence in you is not a decoration; it is a defense. When you carry Him into your home, fear withdraws. When you carry Him into your workplace, confusion scatters. When you carry Him into your community, hope is awakened. Your very life becomes a sanctuary where others encounter the living God.

But consider the alternative. When God's people fail to carry His presence, a vacuum is created—and vacuums are never empty for long. The enemy rushes in to kill, steal, and destroy. Marriages crumble, nations shake, and destinies are delayed—not because God has abandoned us, but because we have abandoned our post. Every problem around you that seems insurmountable is, at its root, a sign of His absence, and every breakthrough you long for begins with His return.

Imagine if every believer woke up with one mission: I will carry His glory today. What would happen to the brokenness in your family? What would happen to the violence in your city? What would happen to the despair in your nation? Chains would break. Darkness would flee. Life would spring forth from dry ground—because where His presence is, there is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore.

This is not a suggestion; this is your calling. You were not saved merely to be safe—you were saved to be sent. You were not redeemed to rejoice—you were redeemed to represent. You carry within you the same power that raised Christ from the dead. The same Spirit that hovered over creation now dwells in your mortal frame. You are a living Ark, a walking sanctuary, a carrier of the King. So rise, child of God. Shake off the dullness of routine. Refuse to let the world define your worth. Take up your position with holy determination. Let prayer be your posture, worship your weapon, and obedience your offering. Carry His presence into every room you enter, every conversation you have, every decision you make.

The enemy trembles not at your ability—but at your availability. When you carry God, you carry victory. When you carry God, you carry peace. When you carry God, you carry transformation. This is what you were chosen for. Not to blend in, but to stand out. Not to survive, but to thrive. Not to exist, but to make an eternal impact.

Today, make this your resolve: I will carry His presence. I will minister before Him. I will not let His glory depart from my life. And because I carry Him, my family will be preserved, my community will be renewed, and my nation will see His salvation. You are chosen for His presence.
