Here's our thought on the Victor Osimhen outburst yesterday - we are aware 95% will ha.te us for this but we have never hidden against the truth:

Anyone asking for an apology from Osimhen is just entitled period! Should he have waited to verify if Finidi actually said that is the only fault we found in the video. But if the former Head coach had said that then he and anyone who believed him deserved those words yesterday!

First: For those of you saying that Osimhen is not the first Super Eagles player to be criticized by Nigerians comparing him to Okocha and Mikel

When those players were active - anyone who had a bad opinion about them kept it to himself and a few friends. But now anyone with a bad opinion will easily come online and convince 200K people to believing rubbish!

When Okocha was playing was there Twitter and Instagram and Facebook? When Mikel and the rest were playing did over 100 million Nigerians have mobile devices to come online and believe fake news? None of you know how it feels like to wake up to 500K tweets on this app and you're trending for being wrongly accused when you give everything for your country!

Osimhen played his heart out at the AFCON! He is one of the four Super Eagles we have never questioned his commitment towards the national team: The other three are Ahmed Musa, Troost-Ekong and Iheanacho. Those four players can give their lives for Nigeria.

People saying he can't do that to Napoli: Racism is common in Italy, its no new thing. But do you have any idea what if feels like when your brothers turn against you and you didn't do anything? His last resort for Support was Nigeria and you people believed that he chose games to play! Osimhen can change clubs anytime, but he can never change his country.
