Mass failures recorded among the learners at any level these days may be a direct consequences of gross ineptitude on their part about how best to mobilize all available resources ( time, talent, opportunities, staff, facilities, etc ) to their advantage in furtherance of their educational pursuits.

Some learners tend to squander rare and precious opportunities which should have otherwise been wisely utilized.
Some of them do this because they do not know how to organize their time, others because they are reckless and yet other because they lack motivation. But no matter the cause, the effect is the same - short falls in the development of the potentialities of those concerned.

One of the persistent problems facing the educational system is inability of pupils, students and even undergraduate to apply themselves to their studies in intelligent ways that will eventually yield the desired results and bring satisfaction and fulfillment to all stakeholders.
