WHAT DID YOU LEARN TOO LATE IN LIFE?
.) Do not ignore academics. Prioritize your education and be academically focused and locked in because it will help you to grow and be independent. Do not focus on just passing the class, or barely passing.
.) Speak what is on your mind and guard your word. Contemplate on what it is you are trying to say and think about it. Keep it simple and short. Words do have meanings, even the smallest of words.
.) When being asked a question, do not automatically respond to a question right away. Think for about 5–10 seconds and then respond. Be cold and concise.
.) Don’t make a haste decisions especially if it is one. Think about it and question whether it is the right time and place to make that decision, what are the consquences, will anything good come out of it or bad, and how will this affect me and those around me.
.) Be honest and be truthful. Telling the truth is not often the best of both worlds. It will absolve you from trouble later on down the road. It is better to tell the truth than utter sugarcoated bu****it.
.) Never reveal everything about yourself. Keep things to yourself and not everyone, especially family has to know everything about you.
.) Not all your friends are well—wishers. At the end of the day, you cannot be friends with everyone. Just walk into work or school and say “Hello” and “Bye.”
.) Prioritize physical fitness. At the end of the day, being physically fit and exercising will promote longer health and longevity, as well as you having a sharp mind.
.) Do not be addicted to social media. At the end of the day, scrolling mindlessly and constantly being on social media drains your time, energy, and focus. Social media is just a false perception. Not everybody is exactly how they present themselves as they do on social media.
.) The process of learning never ends until the day you die. Learning more and accumulating more knowledge helps your growth and promotes you to be a better person.
.) Get outside of your comfort zone. At the end of the day, complacency kills and leads to misery as well as you being arrogant and settling for a position you wish you were not in.
.) Learn a high income skill whether it is dropshipping, e—commerce, real estate, blogging, freelancing, sound engineer, cooking, blockchain, SEO, etc. Future you will thank yourself once those habits compound.
.) Spend time with family when you can. At the end of the day, the people who will love you the most are your strongest critic; therefore, it is your parents and family.
.) Attention to detail is everything. Following through with the tasks of each step in an activity and plan is vital in fulfilling the objective or goal of it.
.) Self—awareness is critical in keeping track of what you are doing. Without self—awareness, you will not prosper and fall victim to your own downfall. It is critical that you understand more of personal awareness, situational awareness, cultural awareness, and third—party awareness.
.) Health is wealth at the end of the day. No one will care for your health but you. No one wants to take care of somebody who is grown and not take care of themselves.
