If you can write, you have a superpower.
If you can write a book, you're a superhero.
And if you publish that book? You're definitely a legend!

Sadly, however, you've stopped at just knowing how to write. You have a superpower but you have no idea how to be a superhero; nor how to become a legend. Perhaps, you've limited yourself and your skill because of something you once heard...or read...?🤷‍♂️

And now you've told yourself, "I can't write and publish a book because of (some absurd reason)". Truth is, you're unfairly limiting yourself with your beliefs.

But fear not. We've come to correct those ideologies with the TRUTH. Here are 3 possible reasons you're incapable of going from zero to hero to legend in your writing career:

REASON 1: "Writing and publishing a book is too difficult and expensive."

It's way simpler to write and publish a book today than it was 20 years ago.

Today, you can easily, quickly, and affordably write and publish a book, thanks to the evolution of technology. So, if you still have this archaic mentality that writing and publishing a book is hard and costly, then you probably don't know the potential of the technological era you live in.

REASON 2: "Getting a publishing agent is always better than self-publishing."

No publishing method is better than the other. So long as you've set your priorities straight on what you want to achieve as an author, then you can make the decision of self-publishing your book or going ahead to hire a publishing agent.

It's all about your goals.

REASON 3: "Publishing a book means instant fame and fortune."

So, this isn't exactly a limiting belief...

It's more like an overenthusiastic mentality. But while it's good to dream big, it's also important to dream realistically. It's unfortunate that instant fame and fortune is not guaranteed for everyone. And this idea becomes discouraging to new authors. Now, this is the limiting mentality.

The only way to ensure that your book is successful is by planning. It takes STRATEGY to become rich and recognized in the publishing business.

So, instead of getting lost in "fifid imagination😂😭," go back to the drawing board and map out a solid plan for yourself.

You can start today by shifting your mind from the zero to the hero mentality. If you don't, and instead, cling to these sort of unreasonable ideologies, you'll end up never fulfilling your dream to become that legendary author.
