Even without studying geography, humans have relied on patterns to determine weather occurrences. Farmers would confidently tell you when to plant and harvest and could predict what the harvest would look like based on preexisting factors and indices.

While all had hoped for harmattan in December and January, February was expected to bring heat to prepare for the planting season. However, rain made an incursion in many southwestern states yesterday.

Since the natural calendar is disrupted, people couldn't find a place to situate the development. Of course, I can assure you that it isn't for planting or growing the existing, however, farmers' nightmares (weeds) might start warming up.

What does this signify?

More stress for farmers!
More disruption to the already fragile ecosystem.
Higher chances of pest and disease infiltration. Unexpected or prolonged drought.
Lower chances of seed germination and survival, and many others.

All of which will affect and people's livelihoods so the society's cohesion.

In a broad day, made a big blow with lasting scars. Instead of waiting till the effects hit hard, the time to act fast is now.
