The thumbnail glimmers, it calls your name,
A promise of glory, a life of fame.
It flashes wealth, it shows a crown,
But masks the truth that's breaking down.

A perfect smile, a flawless pose,
The life they lead? Nobody knows.
For behind the lens, the pain may stay,
Hidden from sight, brushed far away.

You chase the image, you crave their height,
Forgetting your blessings, losing your sight.
But what you see is a fleeting show,
A glimpse, a spark – not all they know.

The throne they sit on may soon collapse,
Their "perfect" story may hold some gaps.
Contentment whispers, "Your time will come,"
Stay steady, be patient; your work isn't done.

So don’t be deceived by what you see,
Thumbnails are not reality.
Look up to God, He knows it all,
Your path is steady, though it feels small.

For what is hidden, He will reveal,
And through the storms, your fate He’ll seal.
So envy no one, and trust the plan,
Thumbnails are fleeting, but God holds your hand.

In the heart of the Whispering Woods, there lived a wise old owl named Oliver. Every evening, animals of all kinds gathered under the ancient oak tree to hear his tales. One evening, a curious young rabbit named Ruby hopped forward and asked, “Oliver, why do you always collect twigs and store them in your nest? You can’t possibly need them all at once!”

Oliver chuckled, his feathers ruffling in the cool night breeze. “Ah, Ruby, let me tell you the story of Benny the Beaver and the Great Flood.”

The animals leaned closer, their ears and tails twitching with anticipation.

“Once upon a time,” Oliver began, “there was a beaver named Benny. Benny was the best dam builder in the forest. Every day, he worked hard, collecting sticks, logs, and mud to strengthen his dam. His friends, the ducks and otters, laughed at him, saying, ‘Why work so hard, Benny? The river is calm, and there’s no storm in sight!’

“But Benny replied, ‘The river is calm now, but it won’t always be. I must prepare while the waters are still gentle.’

“Sure enough, one spring, the skies darkened, and the rain poured for days. The river swelled, roaring and rushing with fury. Benny’s sturdy dam held firm, keeping his lodge safe and dry. But the ducks and otters, who had laughed at him, were swept away by the flood, forced to take shelter on dry land far away.

“When the rains stopped and the sun returned, the animals came to Benny and said, ‘You were right to prepare, Benny. Can you teach us how to build like you?’ Benny gladly helped them, and from then on, all the animals worked together to build strong homes, ready for whatever nature might bring.”

Oliver looked down at Ruby and the others. “The lesson, my friends, is simple: Always prepare for what’s ahead, even when things seem calm. It’s not about fear—it’s about wisdom. A little planning today can save a lot of trouble tomorrow.”

The animals nodded, and Ruby’s eyes sparkled with understanding. From that day on, every creature in the Whispering Woods began to think like Benny the Beaver, making sure their homes and lives were ready for whatever the future might bring.
