Your best plug for all baking ingredients and tools.
Why do some bakery workers do not care if their employer is making profit or not, they just expect 100% salary to be paid? Even when the loss is caused by their poor work.

HOW TO BUY THE RIGHT GENERATOR FOR YOUR BAKERY EQUIPMENT
Assume a spiral mixer motor rated at 2,000 W (2 kW)
1️⃣ Running (normal operation) rating:
Power: 2,000 W
Power factor (motor): 0.8 (industry standard)
Running kVA:
kVA = 2000/0.8 = 2.5 kVA.
👉 This is what the mixer needs after it is already running.
2️⃣ Startup (surge) rating:
Electric motors draw more power when starting.
Typical motor startup surge:
2.5–3x running power
Let’s use 3× (safe professional assumption):
2000 W X 3 = 6000 W
Convert to kVA:
{6000}/{0.8} = 7.5 kVA.
Note: 0.8 is the Power Factor (PF) industry standard assumption for Electric motors (like spiral mixers):
👉 This surge only lasts 1–3 seconds, but the generator must handle it.
3️⃣ Generator Size Recommendation:
The generator must handle:
7.5 kVA (startup)
2.5 kVA (running) continuously
Professional sizing rule
Generators should not run above 80% capacity.
So:
{7.5}/{0.8} ≈ 9.4 kVA.
“We divide by 0.8 because the generator should only be loaded up to 80%, so the required load must be smaller than the generator’s full capacity.”
7.5 kVA is only 80% of what it can deliver.
✅ Recommended Generator Size
→10 kVA generator (minimum practical choice)
Why not a smaller one?
5 kVA generator: ❌ may fail to start mixer
7 kVA generator: ⚠️ borderline, stress on generator
10 kVA generator: ✅ smooth start, stable voltage, long life
Field tip (very important)
If the mixer is:
Single-phase → generator must be single-phase
Three-phase → generator must be three-phase
