I fell in love with Apostle Gideon Odoma in 2018 when I listened to his message where he talked about Thomas. That sermon changed my perspective about Thomas in the Bible.
What everyone says about Thomas is that he was doubtful. However, Apostle Gideon said Thomas was a man who refused to take other people's encounters as his own.
He said Thomas did not want to go around telling people about a Jesus he had not encountered personally, and Thomas insisted that he needed his own encounter.
And because of Thomas, Jesus appeared again to the disciples. Not only that, Thomas is the only man in the Bible who touched Jesus' wounds.
I listened to the message and prayed my heart out.
The message really hit me.
Since then, I have been listening to him, and one thing I can tell you about him is that he is humble.
Very humble, just like his friend Apostle Arome Osayi. I wonder why people think they are proud.
This expression alone is a statement. However, his humility is beyond what is displayed here. He is not humble because he knelt down to receive prayers from Rev. Austin Ukporhe. He breathes Humility.
May God continue to keep these men.

You must understand that prayer was never designed to be an activity that is separated from your life. Many people struggle with prayer because they try to create a special moment and call it “prayer time,” while the rest of their day belongs to something else. It must flow through your day, your thoughts, your decisions, your movements, and your conversations. As you go about your daily activities, your heart must remain connected to God. Whether you are traveling, working, waiting, or resting, there should be an ongoing communication within your spirit. This is one of the secrets of spiritual strength. You do not become strong spiritually by praying occasionally.
You become strong by developing a consistent life of prayer. One thing you must know is that spiritual sensitivity becomes easier for people who pray regularly. The voice of God is not usually communicated in the natural languages you speak. It is much deeper than that. Just as your body communicates hunger, thirst, tiredness, and discomfort without anyone teaching you how to recognize those signals, your spirit can also receive spiritual signals.
As you grow in prayer, you begin to recognize spiritual impressions, promptings, warnings, convictions, burdens, and directions. These impressions become a language that your spirit learns to understand. The ability to interpret that language is what develops discernment. Many people spend all their time trying to detect the activities of darkness, yet one of the greatest needs in the life of a believer is learning to recognize the activity of God within the heart.
This is why prayer is so important. The more consistently you pray, the more familiar you become with spiritual communication. Spiritual sensitivity is not something that is forced. It grows naturally through consistent spiritual exercise. Just as a muscle becomes stronger through repeated use, your spirit beco
