🚨 SOS: AN APPEAL TO GOV. UMO ENO

Your Excellency,

Warm greetings, deepest respect. 🙏🏽

We remain loyal and inspired by your people-centered leadership and your recent release of ₦60 billion to accelerate road projects across Akwa Ibom State. That bold move testifies to your passion for development and commitment to a legacy that truly transforms lives. 🌍

Please extend this gesture to the long-abandoned Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Road — a vital link connecting Goodluck Jonathan Boulevard through Obio Etoi and Ikot Ntuen Nsit to Abak Road near UUTH.

This is not just a road. — it’s a lifeline 🚧 - Major Exit Road for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium

It also serves:

Students and staff of Redemption Academy & Royal Neafsea Schools 🎓

Thousands of residents 🏘️

Doctors and healthcare professionals at UUTH 🏥

Businesses and families who depend on daily access and safety.

Sadly, since 2019, work has been abandoned just past the stadium fence.
Over 400 meters of the road at the Urua Ndak axis now lie in ruin —
🌊 Flooded and waterlogged
🌾 Overgrown with vegetation
🐍 Breeding dangerous reptiles and mosquitoes
😷 Creating health risks and cutting off entire neighborhoods.

Your Excellency, this road represents hope, dignity, and connection for an entire community.
With the dry season setting in and funds already released, this is the perfect time to act.

Your swift intervention will:
✅ Restore access and safety
✅ Revive local businesses
✅ Rekindle faith in government
✅ Uplift thousands of citizens who depend on this critical corridor.

📢 Please, Save Our Souls.

With utmost respect and gratitude,
Concerned Residents

Rt. Hon. Ime Okon Furnishes Six-Classroom Block at Ayadehe Technical College

The Member representing Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Ime Bassey Okon, has fulfilled his commitment by furnishing the newly constructed six-classroom block he facilitated and donated to Technical College, Ayadehe, in Itu Local Government Area.

Earlier commissioned this year, the block was completed in phases, with the furnishing delayed due to procurement procedures. Over the weekend, the lawmaker confirmed the classrooms have now been equipped with desks, chairs, electrical wiring, and ceiling fans.

“I’m committed to quality education,” Hon. Okon stated. “We’ve gone beyond construction to ensure the classrooms are comfortable and conducive for learning.”

He also urged students, staff, and community members to maintain the facility and support efforts to improve infrastructure across the constituency.

The school’s principal, Elder John Etim Bassey, expressed gratitude, describing the lawmaker’s action as timely and sincere. “He kept his word and delivered beyond expectations,” he said.

A teacher, Mr. Donald Edet, added, “Many thought it was just another political promise, but today we see the results. The entire Ayadehe community is grateful.”

The project reflects Hon. Okon’s ongoing commitment to grassroots development and educational advancement.

AKWA IBOM GUBER:
Only God's Grace matters, not Government interest, says Father Patrick Edet

The Founder and General Overseer of Grace Family Rev. Father Patrick Edet has described as withcraftcy any power that seeks to install a leader for the people without seeking the face of God.

The fiery Pastor made this declaration when the YPP gubernatorial candidate for Akwa Ibom State, Senator Bassey Albert Akpan, took members of his Akwa Ubokabasi Campaign Council to the Goshen Grace Family for a Thanksgiving service.

While speaking directly to Senator Bassey Albert he said, "Senator Bassey Albert Akpan, the above is interested in you".

He described Senator Albert as a man of grace who has earned the trust of God to receive powers to lead Akwa Ibom people.

While quoting from 1st Timothy 1-4 Father Patrick Edet called on Senator Albert to constantly pray, give thanksgiving and lead a life of peace and watch the power God is handing over to him.

He further added that any endorsement that is not sanctioned from above shall not stand. He encouraged Senator Albert to continue with his campaign of development as he stands the greater chance of emerging the leader Akwa Ibom State needs.

He took a swipe on politicians who do not have a mind of their own by always asking, what does the Governor want, describing it as a reproachable action in governance. He called on the people to stand up and choose whom they want to lead them as their Governor by ignoring all the stories of endorsement going round the state.

Rev. Edet urged the Church to watch and Pray as times are bad and may lead to the election of bad leaders who do not mean well for the people.

He called on Akwa Ibom people to elect a leader who will give them a new Akwa Ibom.
