I will not try to stray from your sight, I know how that would hurt,
That's what love is.

I would keep fighting for our love to bloom, I won't accept a quit,
That's what love is.

I will be kind and respectful of what we share,
That's what love is.

Love is room to plant, grow, blossom.

Many things I desire to say,
A million beautiful pictures
My imagination painstakingly paints;
To decorate your heart and soul.

And all so thoughtful your man can be,
With his thoughts, his words and deeds
All at one spot you would loved them be.

Many things, I, only would love to show,
Lest all I've said fall short as fads,
May my words do just as said
May my love stand strong as laid.

And all so committed your man would be,
Following every thought, word and deed
Till his heart sleeps and wakes no more.

Oh I remember
The first time you looked my way
My heart melted into a million streams

Do you remember
The first time your eyes fell on me?
As moment the night is robed in full moon

Oh I remember
When I first held your hand
Such comfort and peace untold

Do you remember
How you turned all my nights into day
And kept sleep at bay?

Oh I remember
The first time I journeyed west
All day on the road that led to your arms

Chance gave us a hand to create memories
Choice gave us the heart to make it a reality
God gave us the blessing to vow for eternity
A lifetime of dancing to love's melodies

Most importantly,
I do always want to remember
That choosing us is a blessing I didn't deserve

To continually feast and dine.

To where "I" lays down for us.

To the manger, our little beginning
To Canaan, our promised ending.

HOW BLESSED YOU ARE!

Roses, uhhhhm!
Sweet scent, red velvet petals;
Globular, open-cupped and enchanted.

I hear the master's voice:
"The Blessing comes with some thorns!"
Don't get too comfortable,
You might get your fingers pricked.

So is the issue of love,
Soothing to the soul,
Captivating and ravishing;
But shall we treat with levity
The sweetness it gives?

Should we not care at all,
Soon we're left broken in different pieces.

Don't get too comfortable,
When your parched and longing heart;
Takes in the sweet gulps of true love.
Don't take for granted a gift undeserving,
A love that came so freely,
Was but by great sacrifice.

With gratitude and humility;
Reaffirm at sunrise and when it sets,
How blessed you are!
