Below are Few Things to keep in mind

Burned yourself? Don't panic! Here's what to do until help arrives:

1. COOL IT DOWN: Immediately run cool (not cold!) water over the burned area for 15-20 minutes. Think of it like a gentle shower for your burn.

2. COVER IT UP: Gently cover the burn with a clean, non-stick dressing. A cling film or a clean plastic bag will do the trick in a pinch. Avoid anything fluffy or sticky.

3. ELEVATE IT: If possible, raise the burned area above your heart to help reduce swelling.

4. NO ICE: Don't apply ice directly to the burn, as this can further damage the skin.

5. SEEK HELP: Call emergency services or visit a doctor as soon as possible. They'll know the best way to treat the burn and prevent infection.
