The Joint Task Force operations DELTA SAFE has assured the people of Niger Delta area that they are out to protect oil and gas, their infrastructure and to stop militancy, sea piracy, crude oil thieves and other partern of criminality that are disrupting the Operations Area and affecting the economy of Niger Delta.
These Illegal activities includes
oil bunkery, pipeline vandalism amongst others. These activities also affect the environment, farms, and the economy of the Niger Delta region.
The joint task force has also encouraged the people of the Operation area and the public to come together to restore their land, talk to one another about the negative impact of this illegal activities on their economy, environment and society at large.
