It’s been a bit quiet here on our social media lately, because as my clients know, I’ve been busy carrying my big belly around to your horses & ponies for the last months🤰🏼🐎 Last week we welcomed our baby Oliver 👶🏼💙 We’re all healthy and happy, just enjoying the baby bubble with our little prince, and the precious time together 🫶

I’ll be working part time, and clients are welcome to come to our stable for our services 🐎 I will keep doing my online teaching, and we ship out products every day as usual, but I will not be able to travel out for much work in the nearest future 🐎

Looking forward to this next chapter with our newest family member, and thank you for all your kind wishes, flowers and presents already received 🙏🏻💙

We will try to get better at posting cases from our daily work 🐎 Here is an example of the talented dressage rider Dressurrytter Emma Skov and her lovely horse Cracker, which we have the big pleasure of working with 🐎💫. Read about Emmas experience here:

“Fiona from Equi-tech is an important part of our team. We got introduced to Fiona and 3D (UTC) scanning, when we got an injured horse who had been recommended box rest for several months. The diagnosis was not clear, and we felt a need to get a more clear mapping of the injury, which Fiona and her team could help with. The result of the 3D scanning revealed that we were lucky and ”only” had an injury and swelling from an external impact. We got a detailed plan for how to work Cracker, and focused shockwave therapy for 14 days before a control scan. The control scan was positive, we got a new plan and followed up with less frequent shockwave. A few weeks later we entered the U25 danish championships, was placed as number 5 and got selected to represent Denmark at the Nordic Championships later that summer.

We continued to optimize him with shockwave and monitor with control scans, to make sure we had tendons and ligaments under control. We made a detailed plan towards the championships. As we wanted to give him the best possible conditions to move and develop, we started using Equi-tech´s Electrotherapy, which activates the nerves and musculature. With this we could also activate his muscles without loading his legs with as much. We also learned some exersizes from Fiona, to supplement our training and improve his body. We could clearly see and feel an improvement in Crackers movements after starting with the electrotherapy and exersizes. This was also seen at competitions, where we got a markedly higher score in walk than ever before. The summer gave us a 5th place at the national championships, a double gold medal at the nordic baltic championships and a 4th place for teams at the Europeans. Cracker has not had a day with lameness since, and he keeps improving in his body every month, and there is no remnant swelling where the injury was.
Fiona has become an important part of our team and how we work.”

Back to a busy week after a great trip to Holland last week 🐎🇳🇱

Still processing all the input, as it was a great combination of a 2 day congress in Amsterdam with very interesting topics, and the team meeting of Equinetendon.com in Utrecht 🤗 No complaints from the sports enthusiast here that Jumping Amsterdam was next door, so we could watch some of my favorite riders in action in the breaks and evenings 🐎💫

I am so grateful for being a part of the interdisciplinary and international network of equine professionals in Equinetendon.com. It was great to finally be able to get together, working and sparring, and as always sharing knowledge and learning from eachother 🇮🇪🇳🇱🇩🇰🇳🇴 🇫🇷 🇨🇦🇺🇸

Some of the topics in the congress were the suspensory ligaments of both the front and hindlimb, the neck and back, headshaking, regenerative therapies including updates on orthobiologics and exosomes, and also a lecture called “If I rest, I rust”. Several of the lectures emphasized the importance of good quality movement and exersize, which our clients know we very much agree with and nerd around with daily 🏋🏽‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️🐎

Always doing my best to keep learning. The horses sure have their way of making me stay curious and humble. It seems like the saying of the classical masters about horses is true; one life does not seem to be enough to learn it all 🐎🤓♥️

We’re on our way to Christmas holidays today, and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🏼🤶🏻♥️ We’re looking forwards to some quality time with family & friends, skiing and holidays, to charge up for another exciting year ahead with you and your horses & ponies 🐎♥️
