A new work within the Wundertüte series by Julia Willms titled O opens 28 November 2025 at 19.00 hrs at Galerie Obrist. A limited amount is available to purchase via the gallery online shop from 4 November.

Since 2008, Julia Willms has made a series of images for the context of the Wundertüte, a concept in which artworks are sold in a sealed bag. The person buying knows the name of the artist but only gets to see the work after buying it. Julia has made an image a year for this context, a derive of spaces combining organic, digital and imaginary elements, processed into digital collages. Every new space collage is made around one element of the previous image. This way, the works are both independent images and together they create a series over time. The collectors can follow the process knowing every new image will be in dialogue with the previous.
