🚲Last week, Lease a Bike Nederland Lease a Bike organised a "Bike to Work" initiative spanning four days at our headquarters in Arnhem, dedicated to cycling for charity.
For each kilometer cycled to work, Lease a Bike pledged to donate 23 cents to Stichting Leergeld. We're excited to share that our team collectively cycled 1254,7 kilometers, resulting in a 288,58 € donation to Stichting Leergeld Arnhem! 💪🎉
As part of the "Bike to Work" event, we celebrated nationals "Bike to Work Day" towards the end of last week. It was inspiring to see colleagues arriving on bikes, greeted by flags, balloons, and applause, setting a positive tone for the day. During breaks, colleagues had the chance to test electric bicycles from Reerink Rijwielers or learn more about bike leasing.
We extend our thanks to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement. We aim to foster a culture where biking to work is not only encouraged but embraced. Next, our colleagues in Belgium will join the challenge in the weeks ahead.
