We are dancing in Kizumba Lounge in Overschie.
How to get in Ecstatic State? When we start on Sunday with Ecstatic Dance, we mostly start by turning inward into our awareness. Inside the body, behind the eyelids, there is something happening—some movements, maybe some pictures. If we were to stay in our daily mind routine, then we would let our mind interpret them, recall the memories, and put comments on what is happening.

But because we want to focus on embodiment, at the moment of closing our eyes, we invite our ability to sense sensations. With awareness and openness , we invite different body parts into the movement. We don't stop thinking and feeling; we move and let the dance unfold. Then the Spirit of the Dance takes over and we, after some time can reach the Ecstatic State!

Our first Dance on the Beach this year! What an incredible celebration—connected to a Cacao Ceremony and the ancient festival of Beltane (the Spring fire festival). Yes, we will absolutely jump over the fire!
