Monique Lily is an intuitive creator, face and body artist, and educator with over 15 years of experience. Known for her signature Mystic Lines, she transforms color, energy, and artistic flow into inspiring designs. Monique has taught internationally, both live and online, sharing her artistry with students around the world. Her creative work spans face painting, body painting, beauty makeup, belly painting, hairstyling, special effects, and photography—always infused with deep intuition. Beyond the skin, she expresses her artistry on canvas, allowing color frequencies to flow freely in her intuitive drawings and paintings. She is also the creator of the Find Your Flow inspiration card deck for face painters, designed to spark creativity and self-expression. Above all, Monique loves connecting with fellow artists, guiding them to trust their intuition, embrace their own creative flow, and transform their art from technique to true expression.✨💜⚜️

Raised in an academic environment, Wies began her career as a psychologist and coach, though a deep passion for creativity always lingered. Initially, creative pursuits seemed less viable, but everything changed six years ago when Wies moved to Germany with her family and found herself without a job. It was during this time that she rediscovered her creative urges through face painting, with a particular focus on flowers, and quickly fell back in love with the process of artistic expression. Since then, she has dedicated herself to face painting and enjoys teaching others how to bring flowers to life on skin. Recently, Wies expanded her artistic journey to include canvas painting, and she’s excited to explore even more creative possibilities in the future 🌸

We’re keeping the excitement going as we introduce the amazing instructors who will be sharing their skills at Spons!

We already introduced Nick earlier this week. Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Amanda Careford, from the UK!

Amanda is a mum of 3 children,(2 grown up) and after spending most of her working life in sales and marketing ventured into face painting 10 years ago becoming your average jobbing Facepainter.

She became fascinated with brushes and brush techniques during lockdown and started doing live tutorials on line to demonstrate both.

Amanda now teaches on line, demos regularly at UK jams and on other Facepainting platforms , co owns the Facepainting Hub with Elizabeth Gale which offers a wide range of live classes, on the job tutorials and masterclasses and has recently produced a range of flat and angle brushes with a Uk manufacturer, which have been referred to as a ‘game changer’ for many one stroke artists.

Today, we start with… Nick Wolfe! Stay tuned to learn more about their expertise and what they’ll be bringing to Spons!

Nick started his career at Universal

Studios Florida working in the prosthetics lab and has been doing makeup for Halloween Horror Nights and Grinchmas for the past 20 years. He also began face painting in 1999 and taught at Enjoy Your Face Inc and at the various makeup conventions. In 2004 he and his brother Brian, founded Wolfe FX and began touring the world to share their knowledge. Nick has visited 29 countries and has won multiple awards including the World Bodypaint Festival gold in 2009 and 2018. Не has published many books on face painting and his best seller, Extreme Face Painting, has sold over 27,000 copies. He continues to teach and tour today and regularly contributes to the clown, haunter, face and body artist, makeup artist and funeral industries.
