Green Loop Pokhara, a project under the YCSA Grant and supported by AYON and the British Council, proudly presented our work from Phase I to Phase II through a documentary to the respected professors of the Institute of Forestry, Pokhara Campus.
A moment of reflection, learning, and shared commitment towards sustainability and community impact.

Green Loop Pokhara, a project under the YCSA Grant and supported by AYON and the British Council, has officially submitted a declaration paper to Wards 11, 12, and 14, as well as Pokhara Metropolitan City, compiling key concerns, suggestions, and solutions collected from local communities through focus group discussions and panel discussions.
This step ensures that local voices are heard and reflected in decision-making for more inclusive and sustainable waste management practices.

Green Loop Pokhara, a project under the YCSA Grant and supported by AYON and the British Council, has successfully completed a two-day “Best Out of Waste” hands-on training workshop focusing on local women from Ward 14, Pokhara.
The workshop emphasized skill development, creativity, and women empowerment, enabling participants to transform plastic, fabric, and paper waste into useful and marketable products. Through this initiative, women were encouraged toward economic independence, sustainable practices, and active participation in community-level waste management.
Together, we are turning waste into opportunity and empowering women to lead change for a cleaner, greener Pokhara.
