Empowering Youth for Stronger Communities!

Support Nepal, in partnership with Plan International Nepal organized a three-day Youth Network Capacity Building Training under the Girls Standing Strong (GSS) project at Tinkoriya, Bidheha Municipality. This training focused on strengthening youths’ understanding of local governance, providing them with practical insights into how local systems function and how they can meaningfully engage with these structures. Throughout the training, participants also explored ways to enhance their planning and coordination skills through interactive discussions and group exercises, enabling them to better design and implement community-based initiatives.
The training involved methods to create a supportive space for participants to build their confidence in advocacy, raise their voices, share their perspectives, and contribute to more inclusive and effective youth engagement in local-level development.
Local government’s participation in this training displayed and affirmed their commitment to supporting the youth club to apply their learning to create meaningful and lasting change in Kamala and Sahidnagar Municipality.
