Refresher course on "Specific Domains of Perioperative Medicine"

The CEEA Refresher course was introduced in Nepal 16 years back by Prof. Bisharad Man Shrestha and Prof. Baburaja Shrestha is the course director at present. The refresher course is conducted every 6 months by the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care of Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital.

The CEEA (Committee for European Education in Anaesthesiology) is a joint committee of ESA (European Society of Anaesthesiology) and WFSA (World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists). The CEEA organises refresher courses in anaesthesiology.

There are around 100 regional centers all over the world which organizes refresher courses in Anaesthesiology. All these centres provide courses according to the same schedule - a cycle of six courses covering all the fields of anaesthesia, intensive care, emergency medicine and acute pain management.
