Center for Minority Rights Protection(CMRP-NEPAL)

Our Story

This organization was established in 2065/02/13 by active youths aiming to sensitize, organize and empower disadvantaged, exclusive, and downtrodden, women, children and marginal segment of the society for their rights through advocacy.
This organization works on rights-based approach in collaboration with community and community based organizations. CMRP believes that the community and community organizations must be empowered for the social change and its works accordingly.
The organization focusing its activities on facilitating to capacitate the community based organizations, people’s organizations, and NGOs in the society. CMRP works with community on fundamental rights (education, health, clothes, food and accommodation), equal payment for equal labour including social justice, people centered democracy, good governance, campaign against untouchability, capacity building for sustainable livelihood to live the lives with self respect and other livelihood issues. Such activities of the organization are related with capacity building, social mobilization and empowerment of the community.
