Hamro Bahini Surkhet

मिति २०८३ साल बैशाख २८ गते, पाठेघरको मुखको क्यान्सर परीक्षण (VIA Screening) कार्यक्रमसहित महिलाहरूको प्रजनन स्वास्थ्य सम्बन्धी सचेतना कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न गरिएको छ। उक्त कार्यक्रम भेरीगंगा नगरपालिका–१२, सुर्खेत स्थित चिन्चु स्वास्थ्य चौकीद्वारा हाम्रो बहिनी सुर्खेत (United for Impact), सुर्खेत महिला स्वास्थ्य क्लिनिक, Happy Souls तथा Inner Wheel Club of Surkhet Valley सँगको सहकार्यमा आयोजना गरिएको थियो।

कार्यक्रममा ३० देखि ५० वर्ष उमेर समूहका महिलाहरूलाई लक्षित गरिएको थियो। VIA Screening कार्यक्रममा कुल १२९ जना महिलाहरूको सहभागिता रहेको थियो, जसमध्ये ११ जना शंकास्पद पोजेटिभ तथा ७ जना पोजेटिभ देखिएका थिए। पोजेटिभ देखिएका महिलाहरूलाई मनोसामाजिक परामर्श तथा थप जाँच र उपचार प्रक्रियाबारे आवश्यक परामर्श प्रदान गरिएको थियो।

कार्यक्रम सफल बनाउन आवश्यक सामग्री उपलब्ध गराउनुका साथै VIA Screening सञ्चालन र सचेतनामूलक कार्यक्रमका लागि व्यवस्थित तथा सहज वातावरण प्रदान गर्नु भएकोमा चिन्चु स्वास्थ्य चौकी परिवारप्रति हार्दिक आभार व्यक्त गर्दछौं। साथै, पाठेघरको मुखको क्यान्सर परीक्षणमा आफ्नो महत्वपूर्ण विशेषज्ञता प्रदान गर्नु भएकोमा सुर्खेत महिला स्वास्थ्य क्लिनिकका स्त्री तथा प्रसूति रोग विशेषज्ञ डा. राम बिष्टाप्रति विशेष धन्यवाद व्यक्त गर्दछौं।

त्यसैगरी, कार्यक्रमको समन्वय तथा सहयोगका लागि Happy Souls तथा Inner Wheel Club of Surkhet Valley प्रति पनि हार्दिक धन्यवाद व्यक्त गर्दछौं। अन्त्यमा, यस कार्यक्रमको महत्वलाई बुझी अपेक्षाभन्दा बढी संख्यामा सहभागी भई कार्यक्रमलाई सफल बनाउन सहयोग गर्नु हुने सम्पूर्ण सहभागी महिलाहरूप्रति हार्दिक कृतज्ञता व्यक्त गर्दछौं।

On 30th April 2026, a session on the topic of Dignified Menstruation was successfully conducted, organized by SOS Children’s Village Surkhet in collaboration with Hamro Bahini Surkhet, UFI. The participants of the session were students from Grades 7 to 9.

It was a very insightful and interactive program where students actively participated in discussions regarding the taboos, stigma, myths, and facts related to menstruation. The session aimed to promote awareness, dignity, and open conversation around menstrual health.

We would like to sincerely thank respected Ma’am Basanti Shahi and the entire team of SOS Children’s Village Surkhet for their continuous support, coordination, and warm hospitality. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants for their valuable time and active participation.

On Magh 15, 2082, a Traffic Awareness Program on Road Traffic Accident Prevention and Safe Travel was successfully organized by Happy Souls, with technical support from the District Traffic Police Office, Surkhet, in collaboration with United for impact, Hamro Bahini Surkhet and the Society of Ex-Students of SOS Hermann Gmeiner School (SESHS) at SOS Hermann Gmeiner School, Surkhet. The participants were from the pre-primary and primary levels.

With the increasing number of road traffic accidents, it has become crucial to raise awareness about traffic rules from an early age. Keeping this in mind, the program was conducted to educate children on road safety and preventive measures. It was encouraging to see the students being attentive, eager to learn, and actively engaging with the technical team.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the respected Principal, Mr. Harihar Basnet, for providing a warm and supportive environment. We also extend our acknowledgment to the team of Happy Souls for their collaboration, and to SESHS for their valuable contribution to the program.

Hamro Bahini Surkhet team conducted a meeting with Dr. Ram Bista, Gynaecologist representing Surkhet Women’s Care & Diagnosis Centre, and Dr. Saroj Kumar Giri, representative of Happy Souls, on 11th January 2026 at Mokshya Café & Thakali.

The meeting was held to plan upcoming programs related to Women’s Reproductive Health. We will be conducting programs on this topic soon, and further details will be shared in the coming days.
