Kathmandu, Nepal — The short film, The Taste of Water, is set to have its world premiere at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, scheduled to take place from 28 April to 3 May 2026 in Germany. The film has been selected for the Children and Youth Competition section of the festival.
Directed by Aayan Pariyar, the film is produced by Prem Prasad Adhikary, Diwas Shrestha, and Jyotsal Rajbhandari under Risalla Production, in association with Simal Cinema and Everest Film Academy.
