On May 9, 2026, peacefully at Ranui Home and Hospital. Alexandra; aged 94 years.

Loved and loving husband of Betty for almost 70 years, loved Dad (Grumbles) of Stephen, Craig and Nanette, Julie and Graeme, and the late James, loved Grandad of Amy, Tyler, James, and John; Andrew, and Isabelle; and Jacob and Connor; loved Great-Grandad of Gracie, and Oscar.

Family thank the staff of Ranui for their dedicated care and support.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Andy’s life will be held at the Alexandra Bowling Club, 2 Poole Road, Alexandra at 2.00pm on Thursday May 14. In lieu of flowers donations to the St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
