I work with business owners to create the optimum onboarding experience for their valued new hires.
The day before the first day of a new job. What did this look like for you?
Tomorrow I start a full time contract for a few months and I will be immersed in all things onboarding! Today, I'm working through a list of actions that I need to take to prepare for tomorrow.
✅ Relaxed start to the day
✅ Complete online recruitment onboarding
✅ Breakfast while watching a bit of the rugby
✅ Pack tomorrows snacks and breakfast
✅ Check bus route
❗️ Choose what to wear
❗️ Pack my bag, including brolly and jacket
❗️ Head into the city for a relaxed early dinner
❗️ Have an early night and set the alarms!
So, I'm more than half way there. Though I have welcomed hundreds of people in their first days in a new role, I haven't had a first day myself for over 22 years!
I'm looking forward to the experience 😄
