The Caker’s Story
I first experienced the elation of creative cooking and baking as a young girl, visiting my grandparents in Paris. As my grandmother’s helper, I became a part of transforming carefully selected ingredients into a satisfying and—in my youthful mind—miraculous whole.
As I grew up, I continued to bake and the kitchen became my domain and my passion. In 2010, I made a life-changing decision and officially began my beloved business, The Caker.
Along with my sister and co-owner, Anouk, we have built a cult following for our made-to-order cakes, luxury baking kits and recipe books. We still wake up and pinch ourselves to check it’s true; that we could be this lucky to do what we love doing, everyday.
