Experienced building apprentice needed for an immediate start!!!

My client is searching high & low for a second year apprentice who wants to align and grow within a company the prides themselves on workmanship.

Operations Manager

My Client is not in a hurry to fill this role as the chosen individual will be filling very big boots with the current operations manager and want's to make sure that it is left in very capable hands.

Company is based in West Auckland and is a family owned operation. Very low turn over in staff with a family orientated culture.

Summary of Position:

Manage warehouse operations
Coordinate receiving, distribution and material handling for all inbound stock receipts and outbound customer orders
Coordinate with IT on technical issues related to operational systems
Develop the warehouse team and be responsible for safety, efficiency and cost reductions
Work to develop and implement enhanced WMS and Inventory Control tools
Responsible for departmental budget preparation and profit plans
Communicate with department Managers throughout the company.

We are obviously seeking an team player with the following experience:

5+ years experience in management of a warehousing/distribution
Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain management or business a PLUS (preferred but not essential)
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and integrated systems (ERP, WMS, eCommerce)
Experience within an e-commerce, high technology distribution environment.
