The Martin Carroll Story
Martin Carroll specialises in hand raising silverware from one piece of silver, creating beautiful pieces of art. Our passion for what we do is evident in each of our unusual bespoke designs.
We’re all about making family heirlooms and antiques that people will delight in, forever. We only use centuries-old traditional silversmithing techniques in our very simple workshop, so each piece is fashioned entirely by hand (and hammer) and is absolutely unique.
Both manufacturers and designers, we work closely with our clients to create exactly what you’re looking for. We’ll start with an initial concept design, shaping it to meet your requirements. Then, keeping in touch with you throughout the creative process, your piece will evolve into something uniquely shaped by you. We like to think of it as bringing ideas to life.
Martin Carroll specialises in silver but we are not limited in any way, often incorporating other precious metals and gem stones into our pieces.
All our work can be verified for authenticity by the Assay office in Edinburgh, hallmarked by them and with our own Martin Carroll mark. These special hallmarks serve to increase the value of your piece in years to come.
